Compare value by daily use
A bigger pack is not automatically better value. First calculate the recommended grams per day, then divide the pack weight by that amount. Canine Vita uses ¼ teaspoon for dogs up to 10kg, ½ teaspoon for dogs from over 10kg to under 25kg, and 1 teaspoon from 25kg. Our calculator assumes one level teaspoon weighs about 2.5g, so actual duration can vary with spoon size and powder settling.
Compare evidence carefully
Look for evidence tied to the exact branded product, not merely to a broadly similar ingredient. PlaqueOff’s official page makes claims about PlaqueOff. This site does not claim that Canine Vita has been tested in the same studies, has the same proprietary ingredient, or will produce the same results.
Whichever product you choose
A dental powder should sit inside a wider oral-care routine. It does not replace tooth brushing, dental examinations or veterinary treatment for established disease.
